The Hitachi SX14Q004 is a 5.7-inch a-Si CSTN (Color Super Twisted Nematic) LCD panel widely used in industrial and embedded systems. It features a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels with a 4:3 aspect ratio, providing clear and consistent display output suitable for control interfaces and monitoring systems. The panel operates in STN, normally black, transmissive mode and supports color display with RGB vertical stripe pixel configuration.

In terms of optical performance, the display offers a typical brightness of around 200 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of approximately 40:1. It has viewing angles of about 45/45/35/45 (left/right/up/down) and a response time of around 250/200 ms, which is typical for CSTN panels.

The module uses a parallel data (8-bit) interface with a 16-pin FPC connector and operates at a typical voltage of 3.3V, making it compatible with embedded controllers. It includes a single CCFL backlight with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, ensuring long-term reliability in continuous-use environments.

Mechanically, the panel has dimensions of approximately 167 × 109 × 9 mm with an active display area of about 115.2 × 86.4 mm and a weight of around 190 g. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C (storage: –20°C to +70°C), making it suitable for industrial conditions.
