The SHARP LQ150X1LG83, manufactured by Sharp Corporation, is a robust a-Si TFT-LCD display panel widely used in industrial and legacy embedded applications. It features a 15-inch screen size with a 1024×768 (XGA) resolution, delivering clear and reliable visuals suitable for graphical interfaces, monitoring systems, and control applications.

This display uses a 4:3 aspect ratio, making it ideal for traditional industrial systems and older equipment designs that still rely on this format. It supports 16.2 million colors and typically operates with a LVDS interface, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industrial controllers and embedded hardware.

The panel is built using TN (Twisted Nematic) transmissive technology with an anti-glare surface, which helps reduce reflections and improves visibility in environments with varying lighting conditions. It typically provides brightness around 350–450 cd/m² and a contrast ratio in the range of 550:1 to 600:1, offering decent readability for industrial use.
