The AUO G150XG01-V.1, manufactured by AU Optronics, is a robust industrial-grade TFT LCD module designed for demanding applications where reliability, stability, and long operational life are essential. It comes with a 15.0-inch diagonal screen size and a resolution of 1024×768 pixels (XGA), delivering clear and detailed visuals suitable for graphical user interfaces, monitoring systems, and industrial control applications.

This display uses a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is commonly found in industrial equipment and legacy systems. It typically supports 262K / 16.2M colors (6-bit + FRC), providing sufficient color depth for UI elements, dashboards, and visualization tasks.

The panel is based on a-Si TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology and operates in a TN (Twisted Nematic), normally white, transmissive mode, ensuring stable image output with acceptable response times and consistent brightness. It offers a brightness of around 350 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of approximately 700:1, making it suitable for indoor industrial environments where readability is important.

For connectivity, the module uses an LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) interface, typically with a 20-pin connector. This allows efficient data transmission with reduced noise, making it compatible with a wide range of embedded controllers, industrial PCs, and display driver boards.

The backlight system is based on CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) technology with dual lamps, providing uniform illumination across the panel. It typically requires an external inverter and is designed for long operational life (often up to 50,000 hours).
