The NEC NL3224BC35-20R is a premium 5.5-inch a-Si TFT-LCD module developed for industrial and commercial applications where dependable image quality and rugged construction are essential. It provides a QVGA resolution of 320(RGB) × 240 pixels with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 72 PPI, making it suitable for industrial PCs, POS systems, medical instruments, machine controls, and compact monitoring devices. The active display area measures 111.36 × 83.52 mm within an overall module size of 134 × 104.5 × 12.5 mm.
The display uses TN, Normally White, Transmissive technology and supports up to 262K colors through a 6-bit RGB vertical stripe configuration. It delivers a typical brightness of 400 cd/m² with a contrast ratio of 400:1, ensuring clear visibility in industrial environments. Viewing angles are approximately 55° left/right, 50° up, and 40° down, while the low-reflection surface helps improve readability under different lighting conditions.
The NL3224BC35-20R includes a dual CCFL backlight system with top and bottom edge lighting and replaceable lamp support for easier maintenance.
